    Default Active Rain Down?

So Active Rain is apparently down. So I was just thinking wouldn't it be funny if they lost their data and the few million blogs and comments and everything else we have all been working on. Ok not really funny.

That is not funny. I just started having my daughter copy and paste all of my blog posts today but she only got 14 of them done. I hope nothing is seriously wrong. I worked very hard and have not copied it all yet. I just tried to get on and could not get on.

It looks like its back up. I would be pretty down if Active Rain went down as well. But I assume with an operation that large they have backups. At the worst I assume they might lose a day or so of updates but beyond that I assume they have backups somewhere they could revert too.

Ki - It was down completely for me for a few panicky minutes earlier, as was Localism. I kind of freaked, then it was back up.

I wonder what they are going to do with it if they don't find a buyer?

It was not reported. If they are not looking for a buyer then what is their purpose? The cost of maintaining it is too much for a charity effort. Don't you think they are looking for some kind of ROI? Maybe they will start charging for it.

I suppose they should be. Perhaps that is what all the adds they are running as of late is all about.
