certainly not authoritative like an 8 or 9.
..I don't think authority is based on PR...authority has to do with content. A directory with nothing but realtors broken down in to the smallest possible categories is going to rate well with content base analysis...it's very focused on one topic.

You say your site is optimized, if I were to guess I would say your main kw is "lake oswego oregon real estate" based on your title, if this is not your main kw, then you have not written your title correctly. if it is, then you are ranking #15 in yahoo and with 50 or so more links im sure you could take top spot.

I'll wait on your kw list to give you more input.

The fastest and easiest way to get your website into Yahoo and MSN is to create an RSS feed. Then create (if you don't already have one) a MyYahoo and MyMSN page and manually add the feed to your page content. This forces the search engines to spider your website. As of now, this process works like a charm. I wouldn't (and didn't) spend $300 for a priority listing.

And if you're looking for a place to create RSS feeds, consider myrealtyfeed.com

As per my idea, If suppose Lake oswego real estate and oregon Real Estate are main keywords and as per my idea the title should be as belwo:-

Portland & Lake oswego real estate oregon real estate provided by Max Sinclair

Yes you need some one way links to build for your main keywords as the anchor text

Patience. Build lots of great content and eventually the search engines will find you. I have about 100 domains with the best being http://www.queencreek.com. Took a couple of months to get listed on google but Yahoo loved me right away!! I get 10 to 1 more referrals from Yahoo as I do Google.

    Good luck.

My Yahoo rank changes every day. It goes up and down like a yo yo. One day is in the 40's another in the teens and another, god forbid, in the 100's.

Yes, I'm in the process of adding more contents. With the work load, this process is going sloooow. Hmmm...never thought about RSS feeds. I'll look into it.

Morgan, my primary kw's are lake oswego real estate and portland real estate. The secondary ones are beaverton, west linn, and hillsboro real estate. I'd appreciate any insight you might have. Thanks a bunch, guys.

Certainly for those established in the business, I think a Yahoo listing is worth the money. For those just starting out, there are other places where you can better promote yourself online to get established.

My question is this: why miss out on any extra opportunity to get your sites out there? yahoo! submission does benefit you, if you do it right, such as Morgan has said. You don't just submit, you need to make sure that you "submit right". It doesn't have as much to do with whether your site is optimized, but what the editor sees.
