Please check out www.mynewdigs.com and let me know what you think about design, usability, etc. Also would be interested to know if the site appeals to our target demographic which is real estate agents. Thanks in advance!

I like all of the white space. I think the image at the top doesn't fit the rest of the design.
Thanks for taking time to look at it - I wanted to keep the concept simple, hence the large Buyer and Seller buttons. However, I can see your point- the pic with the woman may be a bit too abstract ... I figured the general design would appeal to women, whom make up a large percentage of real estate agents.
I don't have problem with the picture itself, just how it blends in with the colors and scheme of the rest of the page.
You can modify the image to reduce the imact of the orange color like this:
![]()

I agree that the bright orange was pulling my vision away from the rest of the site.
Money Magazine says that Orland Park real estate is one of the best places to live in the U.S. Check out Homer Glen homes if you're interested in living in the newest Chicago suburb. Next door, Lemont homes are the priciest in the southwest suburbs and have held their value, even appreciating while prices in other areas have gone down.
thanks for the thoughts - yes, I agree the orange is a bit overwhelming come to think of it- I'll play around with some alternatives
I like the picture too. But that is only because I like chicks with orange hair.
ok, love the look of it, love the chick in the box, love that it's not filled with "messages"
But...
When I view the source I don't love:
- No H1, H2 tags being used
- Javascript is on the page and not in a separate file
- styles aren't used to the max
- Your email addresses are written in plain html and not protected
I think you would benefit from a totally search engine focussed index of listings with a link from the home page so that Google et al can find all your info.
