Default How often does Google Update PR?

    1) How often does Google Update PR?
1a) Is it the same for all websites or not?
1b) If not, what matters? What are the factors influencing on that?

Google updates page rank on a continuous basis. The toolbar, or as some have come to call it, the foolbar is updated about 3-4 times per year. Just remember that what google shows in the foolbar is generally not everything that google knows about a site, be it page rank or backlinks or whatever. What matters to google is links and staying within their guidelines.

Google does update periodically, but there is no preset time or period in which this is done. Typically, Google will roll over updates on backlinks and page rank on its data centres when a complete index update and review has been completed on indexed documents and document integrity on that centre.

Because Google has lots of data centres, page rank updates happen quite far apart, sometimes in excess of 3 - 6 months.

The important thing is to focus on building your websites link profile, do not try and quantify early on, one month of hard link building won't always give you what you'd expect, especially since Google will not release all link information.

Keep building links, create some good link bait, some website tools and resources, and share something with the public, this is more likely to attract more natural backlinks.

    Good luck

one of the factors that influences the PR is getting backlinks from sites that pass PR juice.

    Here is my answer:

*Google updates it's PR every 3 months
*PR update will take effect all the webpages.
*The factors influencing PR is the number and the quality of backlinks.
