    Default Default for agent leads

Once the administrator has assigned a lead to an agent - when the agent logs in they have several options to filter their leads

    Accepted
    Non-Accepted
    Rejected
    Closed
    All Leads From Today
    All Leads From This Week
Leads at least a month old.

My question is what should the "default" filter be? My guess (And what I am going to set mine at) is non accepted, this would mean this would show all of the leads I have not seen yet, which makes sense right?

Obviously the best option (Which will likely not be available in the first release) is to allow individual agents to set their own preference for default
    filter settings.

Interesting.... My thinking is that the default would be "View All Leads"

You know, that is what it was set up as - but when I started using it, I found that what I was looking to do each time is deal with new leads right away, and then jump to leads I was working. (This is on the agent side)

On the admin side - the most important thing to do (IMHO) is to make sure the sales agents get their leads - so anything not yet assigned (Meaning new) comes up first to deal with.

Well, that makes sense...so I can't ignore the leads.

Not a user yet, but hopefully soon!

I would suggest the default be all, but with non-accepted leads first, then all accepted leads, in order by lead registration date (most recent first). In addition to filters, agents (and admin) should be able to sort by ascending or descending by registration date, last contact date or last login date. Last login date sequence lets you see and track leads who are most recently and most actively using your IDX. Those leads are probably highly motivated, and need to be worked more aggressively than the ones who register and never log in again.

I have to completely disagree with using the default as "all" - at least for the admin, the reason being, the person in the admin position's first role in "most" cases, is to distribute leads so typically they will only see
    New leads (Which are unassigned)
    And
    Rejected Leads
Getting the new leads out to the agents I would think would be more important that sifting through "rejected" leads, which have previously been assigned and were rejected by the assigned agent for some reason.

Incidentally Ronnie, you can "sort" the leads on the screen once they have been filtered (Which could be all of them if you choose all) by clicking on the an html text link which is the column name (Full name, Join date, Status, Number of visits, number of notes etc) See attached Screen.

The most recent activity, is certainly one I want to implement into this system as that is very important - so that should be done this week.

Is "pending" the same as "non-accepted"? I would want everything to be consistent with the references to status.

Another status should be: "Archived". These would be leads that have been accepted, and may have been active for a time, but for some reason are no longer active. They bought/sold with another agent, decided not to relocate, are under exclusive buyer agency with another agent, email address no longer valid, etc. They stay in the system for later stats analysis, but are no longer allowed to login, and no longer get drip emails or new listings notifications.

Blocking users for any reason may be something many will not want to do. However, the system should allow it. I sometimes archive a new lead immediately if they provide a bogus email address.
