    Default Manual Directory Submissions

I have a friend that has paid for manual directory submissions like http://www.profitchoice.com/products...ubmissions.php and his website has done very well in rankings. Is this type of paid submission service ok with Google and othe search engines.

It won't hurt you, but the benefits are dubious.

Hello this is my first post

Eric, you are right about Free directories, they wont help much because usually u get listed in a pr0 page with a high number of low quality websites, however if you get 30 to 60 links from quality paid directories like Business.com, yahoo, botw, dmoz, joeant and many more niche directories (real estate) then you will certainly benefit from those submissions.

from my experience about 30 to 60 quality paid directories with your targeted keywords in the search engines as anchor text (titles) will definitely help, infact i know a lot about that since i am a Seo and directories owner myself

    thanks.
