I have Wolfnet Tech IDX and need some custom coding for a couple of sites. Specific MLS areas and categories 'bank owned' and 'HUD'. Would be great to set up a data download nightly and disply the results on my pages. GREAT for SEO.

Hi Bob,
What exactly are you doing ? As far as I know Wolfnet is a IDX provider that offers IDX solutions for Realtors to frame into their websites. What area (MLS board ) are you working with? To get the Raw data download you will need to be developing the site for a Realtor / Broker. I am pretty sure alot of them won't disclose in the IDX data if the listing is "bank owned" or "HUD" ... ( I know SoCal doesn't )
I'm using the Denver MetroList. It does have many 2 - letter categories, including lender owned and HUD - so the queries can be made to resolve in an I-frame. But I'd also like to get a nightly download and publish. I know it's been done by a few.
Anyone ??
Bob,
Couldn't you accomplish your goal by just creating search string URLs with the filters you want? That is, using the existing WolfNet search string and adding on the filters you want, then framing that specific search on the appropriate page? Or, am I missing something?

Yep, that sounds good - I'm looking to hire someone to do that.
I'm more of an SEO expert than code writer......
If you are using the wolfnet system, just tell your client what you need, and they can have wolfnet do it for you.
Starting LEC 7 soon but it won't be called LEC 7 - LEC 2012 coming soon!
Whatever Wolfnet does, it will still be IFramed, so it won't help SEO. No IFramed IDX will help SEO because the SE's rightfully credit the target website for the content within the IFrame. If you are looking for a full IDX download, contact MetroList tech support for a copy of their IDX rules for developers/vendors. If that doesn't scare you off that plan, good luck!
