Default Do You Solicit International Buyers?

I'm curious as to who out there is soliciting international buyers, and has been successful in converting inquiries from international buyers into closed deals. If you feel more comfortable PM'ing me, feel free to do so. Thank you.

We do a fair amount of solicitation. To date, not much luck in this area but we hope to expand our presence in the coming months.

A good friend of mine from Vegas set up a Buyer's seminar in London catering to investors looking at the high rise market. He had some success based on the fact that the dollar is weak right now.

It was a lot of work and expensive - he sold enough to pay for everything and make a profit, but not a huge profit...

We don't solicit to International buyers, but they have been contacting us through the site and so far the conversion has been 100%. It has only been 4 deals, but they all close once they contact us.

Same here, they find us through google. Not sure if it would be worth advertising in print publications overseas. I have a feeling I would also get more of the financial scammer inquiries too.

The feedback is much appreciated. Aside from the seminar (which sounds like a good experience), are there any specific tactics that folks are leveraging to gain exposure in this space?

I have sold to several Canadians in Myrtle Beach, but they aren't buying the most expensive properties.

I'm originally from Europe so take this what it is worth: Business is hugely based on relationships/trust and real estate is no exception. Set up a sales seminar, and even your average European will see it for what it is -- a sales seminar.

IMHO - If you rely on scripts then you are done. Honestly, Europeans are my favorite market because they are very loyal as long as you are honest to them.

P.S. - The "Village" I grew up in Europe is very much where our Brokerage Name came from and the philosophy behind the concept.
