Anybody notice a change in backlinks in site explorer?. I've seen a huge drop in backlinks through site explorer about 75%

Yep. With this last update, I saw a drop of about one third of my previous numbers. I just submitted a site map about three weeks ago. Also, I was no where to be found on Yahoo since my switch over to REW in June, but with this last update, I have one 1st page placement and a few others on pages two or three. Never have been able to figure them out, but since they send so little traffic in my area, I don't think it really matters.

Yeah I'm still ranking No.1 for our key term in yahoo but the backlink drop just confuses me!

My numbers go up an down with Yahoo as far as backlinks. I think it has something to do with indexing problems. For some reason, I can check different times of the day and get totally different numbers.

Site Explorer has definitely updated something... If you have an account and perform the same query while signed in, you will see very different numbers.
Maybe they are showing a percentage of links like Google does, to entice users to create an account in order to view more complete data.---cK

We have increased our links dramaticly. I am not sure if it is cause we are new. But our Google links have dropped and are much much lower than my Yahoo links. Does anyone know why that is
