These clients require that you (the agent) be a member of the system in order to list any of their properties. The system has become more popular in the last year or so as bigger banks have signed on with it. Signing up with the system, in my opinion, will more than likely do you more good than harm:-) Good luck!
This seems like the reason to join. Sometimes you have to look at more than just the direct business from something.

I have been with them for a year and have not received a listing and I pay $50 a month for the listing areas. I am probably going to cancel. I have a friend that gets listings from them though so it seems to be a litle roll of the dice.

I pay $50/month for zip codes got nothing not even a BPO in 18 mos.
Also, got certified for a few more benjamins. Still nothing, so I upgraded to the PLATINUM Certification, again can't even get a BPO.
Although, a company is posting some BPO's in my area. They are always gone before the e-mail goes out.

Then on RESnet I get a few really good listings from the company that posts BPO's on REOtrans. So I will stay with RESnet next year and let others fight for a BPO on REOtrans.

I do know agents that do a lot of work on REOtrans, but that is completely different than getting any work from it. From what I have scene even the companies that use the reotrans platform do not use it to find agents.

Just being registered with REOtrans is not enough. You also need to register with the asset management companies using that portal. They use REOtrans to connect with brokers in specific zip codes. Its like a directory of agents.
I have some contacts - P M me, unless you are in Denver......

    Very true,

Dont forget reo prep, they have been a pretty good source lately. They havent added any extra fees recently like the valuations has as well. Thats kind of nice for a change.

I don't know if it's just me, but I never seem to be quick enough to grab BPOs that have just been posted in my area (los angeles). I see that an order for a BPO has been posted, and then sure enough that same minute it says that it has already been accepted by another agent. Are there any agents here from Los Angeles/Orange County area that have the same problem?

I'm almost certain other agents are using auto-accept programs macros programs to get nab these BPOs

Can someone provide information about the auto-accept macro programs mentioned earlier? Supposedly they help nab these BPOs.

My friend used to work for Reotrans, and the only reason Big Banks are signing on with this company..is that they will do the initial work for free. That means Reotrans has get paid somehow, so they will charge anyone and everyone who uses their website. Don't be surprised if rates are going to be raised.
I am a real estate broker and I don't use this site.
