Hi,

So I figured this was the best place to talk about my real estate investment experience and pass along my feedback to other interested investors.

About 2 years ago I started researching investment opportunities in the Asheville area of NC. I had heard a number of great things about Asheville, and when speaking to seasoned investors who were looking at similar opportunties, they only confirmed this.

Asheville offers the dining, shopping and culture of New York City, except you are surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. You have everything from hiking and bike trails to your luxurious spas; nightlife to numerous golf courses. Before I even had a chance to visit Asheville, I already fell in love with it. Best of all, Asheville does not suffer from an overwhelming amount of investor activity. So this gave me the reassurance that it would not be too difficult to sell once the time came.

I started to investigate a number of luxury communities in and surrounding Asheville. My goal was to find a community that was still in the process of being built and offered a number of amenities. A place where I could see myself and my family own an additional home. Then I discovered Lake Lure, just southeast of Asheville, about 30 minutes away.

I found a fantastic luxury gated community being built right out of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This community overlooks Lake Lure and has absolutely outstanding views of the mountains and the lake. My lot was in the 400-600k range and I was able to make around a 200% ROI in just about a year. This low risk, high return investment was an incredible opportunity that I will be considering again.

I'm not sure how much detail I am allowed to go into about the name of the community and who I worked with (not direct with the developer)...but I am open to sharing more of my thoughts.

If you are considering a low risk, high return investment, I would take some time to look into the Asheville area. And more importantly this community that I've had a great experience with.

Feel free to contact me and I'd me more than happy to discuss further.
