    Default Abbreviations and the newbie

I am an infant when it comes to technology. Until 2007, I have only had an email address which I rarely checked, but now that I own a real estate company and work on my own web site, I never had a reason or time to gain any knowledge about the internet. Now my whole world has changed, I spend countless hours trying to develop and of course improve my website’s rankings in order to be able to compete in this highly competitive field that I am in. During the many hours spent trying to figure things out I discovered this web site along with a number of others. I do a lot of reading trying to figure out what I need to do. As I read I find myself confused with some of the abbreviations being used. Of course some are easy to figure out (SEO, SE, RE. etc.) but some I did not have a clue about. It seems that every site has a few variables that are only used on that particular site or maybe by the members I have read. Again, I am new so it didn’t occur to me to just Google it, until just now after I started this thread. And of course, there are countless resources dedicated just for abbreviations. Here is a link to a good real estate site: http://www.penningtonchen.com/abbreviations.html one that will at least help me to understand all acronyms and abbrieviations. There is a lot for me to learn and I believe finding REW is going to do wonders to my advancement in real estate and I just wanted to share this just in case there is anyone else wondering what all these things mean!

    Cleo -

Check out the REW glossary first when you see a term or acronym you're unfamiliar with. If it's not there, post the question & someone will add it to the glossary promptly.
