    the buyer found us through a Squidoo page we created
    I have created some Squidoo pages about personal things that I enjoy too with the intent that it will pay back some day down the road.

    I've created joint ventures with people worth tens of thousands and in one case over a hundred thousand dollars strictly through facebook and LinkedIn. I neve met them or talked to them offline.

    At last count, I am a member of 10 or more social networks. myspace and others, I am not really a fan of, but facebook and linked in take a more professional approach to it.

    I have resolved my self to the fact that I need to spend about an hour a day working my networks. They are important because some techies live and die by them. Friend of mine had a potential client that almost "required" them to communicate through facebook

    Social Networking is definetly the way to go...much easier to do too if you know what you are doing
