Top real estate agent Personally Answers 700 e-mails a day?

I came across the "Top 200 real estate agents" rankings sponsored by the Wall Street Journal, Lore Magazine and Real Trends.

A Manhattan real estate agent was ranked #1 (no surprise) with $748 Million in sales.

More impressive though -- she states that she personally answers 700 e-mails a day. How do you personally answer over 700 e-mails a day with a meaningful answer?

Does anybody here personally answer even 100 e-mails a day? (Reminds me of the Cloning commercial with Sprint.)

I personally answer (In written form) well over 100 questions in a day, if you combined Work MSN, Forums, Blogs and Emails I probably beat her by quite a bit. - Not in just email by itself though (This message was written in 15 seconds)

Doing some math, just for fun - I am going to estimate my average written response is 30 seconds and that I spend roughly half of my time working writing written responses (Email, MSN, Forums, Blogs etc)

I probably average a 14 hour work day so cut that in half to calculate written responses - 7 hours is 420 minutes, and half a minute average for response thats 840 responses in a day

That's the question. If I was in charge of the Blackberry advertising account, I'd be on the phone (or sending her an e-mail ) to sign her on for a commercial!

Those are stunning numbers when you consider how time consuming real estate transactions can be. (Attending closings, inspections, reviewing contracts, managing the transaction, etc.., etc..)

And this rankings is for individual real estate agent results.

That's why it was no surprise. It's generally someobody from Manhattan or The Hamptons every year.

Those are stunning numbers when you consider how time consuming real estate transactions can be. (Attending closings, inspections, reviewing contracts, managing the transaction, etc.., etc..)

A likely explanation is that she has a team of support personnel who do virtually all of the above. Her priority is selling ... and she obviously has systems in place that effectively manage all the other details.
