Default The next evolution of IDX Frames?

I received the email below from my MLS. What does this mean to me? Is this similar to the REW custom IDX? I'm not really sure what I am getting with this new tool or how to maximize this enhancement. Will this IDX give me credit for the content on the MLS to improve SE Rankings?

Any insights on this are appreciated.

    Thanks

    Dear Members,

We are pleased to announce the next evolution of IDX Frames. This new IDX frame was purchased by FNIS to replace their old IDX SmartFrame solution that everyone found to be so inadequate. We are one of the first two boards in the country to have this solution implemented.

For those still a little hazy on the terminology, IDX stands for Internet Data Exchange. IDX simply allows those Brokers who belong to the Park City Board or REALTORS® MLS to extend the cooperation to enable each other to display all active listings on their respective sites. The cooperation only extends to those sites under the Brokerage’s ownership so there is no worry about other companies sending your listings off to 3rd parties without your express approval.

Now prospecting, tracking, and marketing will be bigger and better. The new technology allows easy placement of all of your listings however and wherever you want them as well as supporting the “Deep Links” that we all loved from GoHome. Best of all, this continues to be a value included benefit of your membership in the Park City Board of REALTORS®

I am not sure exactly what this is - but It's not going to be a REW custom IDX. I suspect that they have just upgraded their Iframed solution that they offer to their members - If I remember correctly the old one was quite basic and getting old.

Will this IDX give me credit for the content on the MLS to improve SE Rankings?
    I doubt that it will.

I am not sure what this means. I'm sure the folks at your MLS board will be able to explain.

    Thank you,
    Aaron

Any framed solution will have the same issues of spiderability - basically they CANNOT be spidered under any circumstances, thus is the nature of framesets, iframes etc.

There is not way around it - REW Customer IDX is "built in" to the site, meaning the IDX data and content actually resides on the same server as the website (More or less) so that the content can be served via the IDX datacenter at REW directly as page content so that search engine spiders view it as static.
Starting LEC 7 soon but it won't be called LEC 7 - LEC 2012 coming soon!
