    Default basic blog question

I am new to blogging. Am still unsure of the purpose of some areas/ terms, so maybe some one could set me straight.

Is the KW benefit of the SE only?

Why does the REW blog want to take out the word formatting and hyper links when I copy and paste into? It seems to take it fine, just wonder the purpose of the query?

Is internal linking( relevant in my opinion to the pieces I've written, not 5 links all to me) not beneficial?

Why are there links at the bottom, when you can have them internal to the blog?

What is the purpose of the blog tag? Who or what sees it? Are they different terms than the KW terms?

Title of an article- should it express the area you work, i.e, Working In Santa Cruz, Sleepless in Seattle, Hungry in Minnesota, etc?

Is there any discernable SE preference to size in the rise of the topic. Does a 300 word piece have any more or less weight than 150 words, other than more potential words triggering a SERP?

Is there any preference for Capitals or punctuation in a title from and editorial or SE standpoint?

Any benefit or Ar or REW or Point 2 Agent blogs with the same article? What about Blogger , Squidoo and a number of other blogs. What are the merits or reasons why one would or would not want to spread your thoughts( blog) around to the widest audience?

Are there negative things to have in a blog? Can a spammer harvest e-mails and f## up my accounts?

Are there auto sub mission sites for blog? My P2A site seems to submit listings to multiple sites at once. If there are multiple blog submission sites, what are they and any comments on the pros and cons?

Do more articles put your name out there more for a consumer to find you and therefore more blog is more pages for a better lack of term, to be found on?

Sorry to be dense or verbose or both, but guidance may help and is greatly appreciated.

Not sure about the REW blog side of things, but here's a great (and timely - just released today) resource for blog optimization, in general:

    Holy Crap Gregg!
I am going to need all day to answer all of these questions (There are quite a few) so I will try to do one at a time as time permits.

Great questions and effort btw, I am sure you are not the only one with these questions.

Your first question "Is the KW benefit of the SE only?"

I am assuming you are talking about the meta keywords TAG - in REW Blogs, my suggestion is to ignore it - I still put the meta keywords tag in every piece of technology I build because it saves me from having to explain why it is not in there, and convincing people they don't need it

Haha that is one answer - more specifically though, for the most part I care about Google, but lesser SE's may still give that meta keywords tag some weight, so it is in there so that you can put a summary of the "main" keywords that an SE should consider your single post for - For example, this forum thread you started may have (Comma separated with spaces after the Comma)

keywords="Blog question, basic blogging, begginer blog questions"

    That sort of thing

Hope that helped - there is answer #1 - like 500 more to go lol

Thanks for the thought, but no not really. On the REW side, why does it have a popup regarding wiping out Word formatting. I see no visible reason why. It wipes out hyper links. There is probably another way to have them in, but since I write in Word, seems like I don't have to duplicate my efforts.

If you want to PM me with some ideas, that would be great as I want to get better at this and there are some things I haven't found answers to yet.

Thanks for the thought, and yes I have lots of questions. This forum and the breadth of knowledge like yourself, CK , Jessiesc and others is appreciated to harness.
