I've been looking for inexpensive and/or free digital images [royalty-free] to use on my sites. I have come across these photo sites:

I've seen that site before but recently the site has been down with only this message:

"sorry for this unexpected downtime. we're having trouble with one of our servers and we're going to have to install some new hardware. don't worry, stock.xchng will be back this weekend!"

Oh man, that stinks. I really like the photos. When I worked at Conseco, the paid a BUTTLOAD of money to have the rights for their print advertisements. They didn't want anybody else to use their photo for branding purposes.

This site doesn't have the greatest selection in my mind but the price is hard to beat. I have used both istock and photos.com and like them both. Looking at both price and selection I would have to go with them. Anyhoo, here is the other site I didn't see listed.
