    Default IDX accuracy

I was going to ask how often my REW idx is updated, then realized it's a live feed so it should always be up to date. Right? Wrong?

I have a snippet for street names. One street has 5 active listings, but only 4 show up. Just thought that strange.

And is it possible to get a page layout like this [url] www.movoto. com/real-estate/homes-for-sale/brea. html
in addition to the normal results page? Take out the spaces.

    Just curious.

It's updated when REW runs the update once a day.

The IDX feed only pulls those listings that are allowed to be displayed. If an agent excludes the listing when they input the data, or a broker has opted out of IDX, it won't show up. What you have access to for properties on your local MLS is not what you will always find on your IDX.

Thanks OCTeam - that's correct - the update happens around 10am CST each day - depending on when the files are ready from Socal.

While we are talking Socal - I'll mention that Socal just switched back to their own ftp server for the data files - so there will be some updates to the feed over the next few weeks - should not effect your webites.

There are a few reasons that a listing will not show up - anywhere from what OCTeam mentions - to the agents spelling the street wrong - leaving off the type of street - things like that. Best thing todo is let us know the MLS#'s of the listings that you believe should be on your site - an we can use that to determine why it's not there and where it may be.

Yes - we do custom programming and design - All you would need to do is request a quote - you'd approve the quote - and we'd get it in the production queue for you.

Yes please to be giving me a quote so that I can have a results page look like this www.movoto. com/real-estate/homes-for-sale/brea. html
in addition to the normal layout.

i would want to do it for a couple of cities. I'm not sure if once the results get laid out, i can just change the city as if it were a snippet.

Regarding missing listings here and there, they show up in my old idx for a citywide search, but not the new one. I'm not really concerned about that, since I am very happy with my new idx capabilities, but i still thought it odd.
