    Default PPC Newbie

Hi, I am looking to start putting together some PPC campaigns. I've been looking at several different options such as Google, MSN and Yahoo. Google is obviouslly by far the leader in PPC but I was curious what other people thought about MSN and Yahoo. Is it worth putting together a PPC campaign with either of these two? Has anyone seen good results from them?

Also what is the average amount that people put into an initial account for PPC? I know some people who spend A LOT of money and others that put in as little as $25 a month. I am curious what the trend is for real estate.

I look forward to hearing your input!

How many leads do you want, are the leads just for you? I was spending 3-4k a month on PPC. However, that was for several agents.

I'd stick to Google. Yahoo and MSN isn't worth the effort. I'd also focus on long tail keywords, because on the main keywords your budget will be eaten up my lunch time.

Also start working on SEO, it will save you 1000s in the long run.

$25 a month is a waste of the time it takes to set it up. I spend about $25 a day and wish I had more...and soon will be spending much more.

Stick with and master google and then move on to yahoo and msn. Real estate is very competitive, so know what you're doing or you'll lose your arse.

The cost depends on your area. Set up an account that works for your budget and then increase it if it looks like it would be worth it.

Definitely go after the long tails and the misspellings. Reality gets searched about half as much as realty.

Your conversion of click throughs to leads or your conversion of impressions to click throughs?

My suggestion is to seek out a PPC advertising management company. I am currently using ppcgeeks.net and I am very satisfied with their service.
