    Question RealTown Experiences?

Has anyone been a member of RealTown for a while? It seems along the lines of ActiveRain with the community type atmosphere, blogs, etc. Seemed harmless (and free) so I activated my account they sent me. I am guessing they got their contact information from an older company because they had my old, old URL and my old work address.

Anyone who has any experiences with them or opinions, I would love to hear from you. I'm six months behind on keeping up with the Forums, so off the reading I go.

I just got a spam email from them. I entered my contact info, but not much else. Seemed like a nice interface, but I haven't been able to start using it in earnest yet.

Looks like a very semi-established community. check out their stats.

Real Town has been around awhile. They do the epro courses and have run the Real Talk and e-Pro list serves for a while. They started the blogs and upgraded their other formats in the last year or two. A lot of the old e-Pro crew moved over to AR. Their blogs have a lot of pop and they are certainly a reputable established group.

I've been on RT for a while. Too many vendors paying to be there to push their wares on an unsuspecting audience. Some of them not so reputable.

I think that is why a lot of the old e-Pro group left was because of what BigToe is saying. I used to participate in the e-Pro list serve but moved on as well. I was trying to be nice.

Nice site, I would say at least worth signing up and creating profile, I thought for a minute this was post on americantowns.com , I get these two mixed up.
