Yahoo Directory Disadvantage?

I would like to get some feedback on whether being in the Yahoo directory is a slight disadvantage. My thought is this: to get in the directory you have to clean up your site title and description. IE you site title has to be your company name and your description has to be just that, a description of what you provide on your site. Those sites who are not in the directory are able to use all of their spammy keyword bloated crap....and therefore I think that yahoo ranking wise it may actually be a disadvantage to be in the directory. What say you?

Actually I think you are confused about the guidelines. They are not saying you have to change your site title, they are asking you to write a separate title and description that they can use for the directory.

This will change the way yahoo displays your title and description (They will use the directory info) but this is actually an advantage because you get the ranking benefit of your pages title, but the benefit of not having to have a keyword loaded title (Which can look spammy) when they search.

Yet my actual title is -
SEO services, search engine optimization company, seo blah blah blah
