    Default Best source for inexpensive writers?

    I called a few writers I found on the web and was shocked to have quotes as high as $20,000

    Does anyone have an affordable writer solution?

    Mostly content. I can even provide most of the research data. All I'm looking for is a paragraph or two for each community I'm pushing. I've got about 20 communities.

    I have like 9 writers on staff but I don't think you would consider them "inexpensive" - what they are though is trained in both writing specifically for real estate AND search engines - so if you want to talk ROI vs initial cost let me know

    Incidentally, because you spent a kabillion dollars with us last year, (And sent Aaron a bottle of crown) and I just personally happen to think you are an all around great member - there are likely deals to be had - hit me up on PM, or give me a shout
    Starting LEC 7 soon but it won't be called LEC 7 - LEC 2012 coming soon!

    Check local colleges...there are usually students looking for part-time work...some may be majoring in journalism or just good a writing. It would be easy work for them as they love being at the computer.

    Hey Coastal;

    I think Morgan's point about training is important.

    There are MANY folks who can write. Those who understand the vagaries of the real estate biz enough to write about it are much smaller group and those who can be search friendly at the same time are an even smaller group.

    Oh yeah...and then out of that group, you need them to produce quickly and efficiently. For my purposes, I tend to write it all myself **cough**control freak**cough**, but I think at the end of the day, your cost per piece of content may well be less with taking Morgan up on that.

    I have 4 staff members to assist me with the marketing / listing /closing / technology support of our 120 agents and I can tell you that content writing would be one of the most difficult of things to train out and delegate.

    Just my opinion...

    BTW Mike, so sending Aaron some Crown works, huh?....hmmmm...(GRIN)

    Also--Please let us know when you become a parent (should be soon, right?)
