    Default 1-800-Number Systems

    I have used a couple but proquest seems to be the best so far. With the Do Not Call List now its hard to do anything with the calls that come in unless they 0 transfer to you or leave a msg....but the best thing I have found a use for it is in my listing presentation..when I can tell a client that NAR says the avg agent only gets 23 phone calls a month and I can show them from a printed call sheet I have got over 400 in a month they sign right then...because to them phone calls equal buyers and buyers equal more prospects for them.

    You can't call them back under the do-not-call rules? Wow, that seems kind of harsh. They called you, you paid for the call, seems like you should be able to call back to say hi.

    You can always suggest in your message to auto connect with you.. Which I have had success with.

    Word on the street here is you can call ANYONE as long as you are doing a survey ...
    "Hi, I am Joe Agent, and I am calling today to do a survey on people in your neighborhood who would like to sell their home soon. Who do you know that would like to sell their home? Really, and to complete the survey....." etc..
    I don't survey people, but I know folks who do...

    Any thoughts on that one?

    Good call Jeffery. So let it be a lesson to you cold callers, ask a survey, do push or offer a service or product.
    Give them your contact information and tell them WHO you are, but don't sell them anything. Let them ask you if they are truly interested.

    Let's change that earlier script to: "Hello, my name is Joe Agent, I work with ABC Realty and I'd like to ask you a few questions today to help conclude a survey I am taking. Can you help me with this quick survey? Great Thanks! First Question, What is your opinion about the real estate market in "your-town" area? Really? Do you own a home? How much would you predict that home would be worth? Blah Blah Blah, If you'd like to find out the results of my survey visit my website at joe-agent.com/survey and thank you - have a nice day."

    If done right, and they like you, you have just created rapport with them for how ever long you surveyed. They'll remember you and possibly go to your site where as you have your actual results, and links to where you DO offer service....

    And if everything were perfect in this world, I'd have a higher pr then this site your on right now...lol... but hey, IT is worth a try... and that could be a safe way about going at it.

    As for the 800 calls! - Apparently you call them back for up to 18 months unless they ask you to stop?.... BTW - stop calling me.lol
    ===== from the link in Jeff's post===============
    I understand "No. Even if you put your number on the National Do Not Call Registry, a company with which you have an established business relationship may call you for up to 18 months after your last purchase or delivery from it, or your last payment to it, unless you ask the company not to call again." as if they call you first, a business relationship has begun.
