Thread: Help with RETS 1.5 and VieleRETS - NO DATA

Ok, I have been implementing websites with IDX for many years, but only have used FTP. I now have to start using RETS 1.5.

I need a solution to grab the data and spit it out into my database, or at least to a CSV file that I can then import.

I started to use VieleRETS (I installed the latest version downloaded yesterday 1/8/08, and installed it on a Windows server). After finally figuring out how to add the User-Agent tag, I am finally connected. I was unable to do much after until I did the Auto-config. Now that I have that setup, it appears to connect, but no data is downloaded.

Should I be looking for something specific if I can connect but no listings are downloaded?

Second, do I need a different extract for each thing I want to download? For example, an extract to download the listings and an extract to download the agent table?

In the end, all I care about downloading is the listing data and photos.

As I know, you have to create a source, target and extract for everything you want to download. But you should ask the local provider about it
