    Question real estate resources

I am putting together a list of sites that will be helpful to the members here with regards to real estate (Not web development) and would appreciate any suggestions for this page.

So far I have listed www.realtor.org and www.realestatewebmasters.com I would appreciate only those sites that are non profit with regards to their content (They can make $ just be a resource without you actually having to pay first.)

The kind of sites I envision are those that would be helpful to the many posters that come here looking to get into real estate, those with legal real estate questions, realtors themselves and brokers.

Thanks for your time as always guys and gals!

Morgan, I just came across this one tonight. I think it may have merit for what you're after: www.dqnews.com. Seems to have a lot of good stats and information.

Thumbs up Re: real estate resources

I know of one specifically for rental properties. If you visit leasebeast.com you can post all of your rental houses along with pictures etc. for free.

My Florida GIS Data blogspot may be a useful link to post Florida GIS Data

It contains links to every property apprasier's digital mapping website by county as well as a wide variety of free GIS data download sites throughout the state of Florida.

Now that Google has jumped on the GIS bandwagon (Google Earth) and (Google Maps) I think you will see it become an everyday use in the real estate businesss.

With the upgraded version of Google Earth you can automatically incorporate many of the GIS data shapefiles available for free download from my blogspot.

    Thanks- emgist
