Default Summary Screen, what would you like to see?

Ok guys, as you know this thing is pretty much done we are just skinning it (Meaning creating the layout etc) part of which means deciding what to show where.

For the purpose of this discussion, should you choose to participate, it is very important that we stay on topic - we are here to discuss one screen, and that is the summary screen. (Screenshot below)

What I want to know is - when you log into your lead manager, what do you need to see on the "summary" screen and why.

This does not mean that all suggestions are going to make it into this release of the lead manager (Or any future releases) I just want to here from you, the users - so that I can make the best decisions on information displayed for the largest group.

Incidentally, in the screenshot what is displayed is Name, number of visits, number of saved searches, number of saved favorites and the date and time of last visit.

So let's here it? Any of these not required? What else would you like to see (Summary view only please)

Looks nice and I am anxious to see other replies, since I do not have an REW site yet I really do not have any complaints/suggestions but 1 thing that would be really cool was if you glide your mouse across the blue link with the lead name that a little bubble/box pops up with their contact info. This way we do not have to click that actual link, load it, then see the info.

Just looking for something for easy access for making calls, sending emails etc. Would also be cool to be able to shut the feature off too for people who do not want all these bubbles popping up. Or maybe a better idea with be a little small white box/envelope the size of the small squares you have next to the lead name on the left, maybe a icon labled "i" for info and when you click it then it pops up in a quick little form/box, making it less annoying for users who do not want stuff popping up. This is something similar to what we have in Rappatoni MLS the "i" (info) icon next to listings.

Maybe a delete button so one can easily delete those that are obviously bogus.

Delete will most certainly be there - I think the plan initially was to have a dropdown with "delete selected leads" so that you can select more than one lead at a time with the check box on the left - just selecting all the ones that are Micky Mouse etc and being able to bulk delete them.

Just semantics but you may want to call it a "Lead Dashboard" since this is really what you would be providing on the login screen.

Since people tend to be very visual, you might want to start the page with a graph which includes the # of leads over time (similar to google analytics) and then let people change the timeframe as they wish.

Underneath the graph, I would continue with the new leads/returning leads which is really very helpful however you should be able to consolidate this so that it reads side-by-side (showing lead name - hyperlinked to details - followed by date and time stamp). That would provide additional screen real estate to really show some of the helpful stuff such as:

    - Graph of "Leads by Stage" (visual with actual #). Clicking on the stage would take you to those leads.

    - Graph of "Leads Assigned to Agent". This would be more for brokers however the idea would be to depict how many leads have been assigned to the various agents to date and over time. Additionally, you would ideally want to see what STAGE their leads are in.

Also, I think it's important to remember that all leads have a potential dollar volume as well as 1) timeframe for purchasing, 2) probability of purchasing expressed as a percentage. If you were able to capture this information within the lead details then you would definetly want to:

    - Include an estimated "Sales Funnel ($) by Stage" graph with hyperlinks
    - Include a "Sales Funnel ($) by Estimated Close Date + Probability". This would look at the timeframe for purchase, the anticipated dollar value of the lead and the probability of purchase. This would be extremely helpful since it would help individual agents (or managing brokers) understand and anticipate their sales pipeline and anticipated revenue.

While a full-fledged CRM solution may not be your end goal, I think adding a few very basic numeric fields to individual leads (dollar value of client, timeframe for purchase/sale, probability of purchase) would enable you to generate some really slick "Lead Dashboard" reports that would help people manage their business.

Just thought of something else that would be very helpful....

It would be nice to see something on the dashboard like "Today's Activities" or "This Weeks Activities" which calendarizes identifies things such as:
    1) Drips that are scheduled to go out (hyperlinked lead name + timing)
    2) Manually entered "To-Dos" or Follow-ups/reminders

Again, I hate to overengineer the lead manager however I think you are already capturing this type of information within the lead manager so it would simply be a matter of presenting a lot of the great data that is being captured "under the hood" and then presenting it in a format that helps people understand and manage their leads, workflow and opportunities.

Are the saved searches and favorites going to be clickable from the dashboard? The date they registered would be nice but you may not have the room.

saved searches and favorites will be clickable yes.

Barry - whoa, didn't expect that lol - Great suggestions to take into consideration, however "graphing" etc is something that we will not be able to achieve during this beta rollout - before I start graphic things etc, I need to make sure that form follows function, so I need to know WHAT data users need to see at a glance, not "how" it is displayed.

Great suggestions and in future versions, I definitely think some graphs will be a nice touch. (Will help us make a great first impression when showing potential clients to

Be sure to file EFS suggestions on the flow charts! Pretty much covered lots of great ideas.

For Beta though, definitely need to know who lead is assigned to.

What about making it a little bit like a widgetized page where we can choose the summary screens we see, the number of results in each, and the order? My Yahoo comes to mind as a great example... I am terribly loyal to the old interface there simply because it has what I want where I want!

I could imagine that each user may have a different preference based on how they operate and this would allow you to add new interfaces to the system that would be available via the config that users could turn on or configure as they please.

Might be some more coding now but if it was done right I see time and efficiency savings later as this system continues to grow.
