What to do with e-mail addresses of people who e-mail a friend a listing from your ID

Ive been emailing the person sending the email. I'll pass on insight to the properties they were emailing.

I started this two weeks ago. I figured I had nothing to lose, and it was easier than doorknocking. Dialogue led to someone wanting to sell and buy in my area. The wife was emailing the husband properties she had found.

I saw an interesting one yesterday where someone was emailing homes to their real estate agent. I was actually able to find out where the person lived. I thanked them for using my site. Again, nothing to lose.

I then created a new page for that area, complete with listings. I didn't do it with them in mind, it just motivated me to finally get it done.

One way to get over the creepy factor would be to make it a slightly generic followup to them receiving the email. Something like:

This is just a friendly reminder...

A couple days ago {Name} sent you this property: {property address & link}.

We at {Company} invite you to visit our home page at: {web site} if you'd like to do a home search of your own or call us at {phone} if you have any questions about {address} or any others you have seen online.

This is a one-time email reminder and you have not been subscribed to any mailing lists.
