I'm not sure how much seo, but I am getting more and more traffic from it.

Thanks for the article I read it and in terms of traffic flow it completely validated my thoughts. "It means folks didn’t find what they were looking for" I found this quote interesting because I know when I stumble I am not really looking for anything in particular just looking. It makes sense that the bounce rate would be high, I bet for a page to do very well in stumbling it would have to show the banana right away because I bet very few actually read the page.
So that defiantly address the aspect of traffic... I am still curious about the value of being bookmarked though these sites...such as digg and others. I bet some of this info may be posted somewhere in the forum...if anyone sees it post it here for me
It affects your SEO indirectly. The more traffic you have, the more likely it is that someone will naturally link to you. People that participate in social bookmarking sites are more likely to have blogs or sites that they can link from, so it's a good demographic to try and get traffic, and thus natural links from.
