    Default Multiple offers?

With your buyers, have you guys been competing against other offers lately? I mean I probably wrote about 5 offers this past week and all these houses had at least 2 other offers on the table. In fact one house had 20 offers! Just curious if anyone else is experiencing this.

Multiple offers still happen in some neighborhoods where I work.

It's happening here with well-priced bank owned properties. Investors are starting to get back in.

I agree... I'm seeing it on bank-owned & short sale homes since the time to negotiate an offer is so long...

Usually happens around this time then stops for a while. Happened to me last week.

I am currently working with buyers that I have run into the same problem. Most of the properties we look at are either short sales or foreclosures and it seems that it is the norm if the list price is rock bottom.

This has left us scrambling because now we are on a time crunch to find a house before the end of March and the number of houses to look at is narrowing down.

    Good luck!
