WordPress Blog question

If anyone else uses a WordPress blog, do you know how to make your main page just show only a couple of paragraphs of each blog, then the user must click a "Read More.." button to see the whole story? I want to do this because I have my blogs set up to be tracked in Google Analytics and I want to get right numbers on who's reading what. I've looked everywhere in the administration section of WordPress and can't find anything.

Any help would be much appreciated!

There is a button in the post editing menu (mine is right between image edit button and spellcheck button) that lets you split posts using the 'more' tag. It looks like two white rectangles split by a dotted line.

Another question, if I may. Is there any way to rid the ">> Blog Archive >>" out of the Page titles?

For example, "Panama City Real Estate News » Blog Archive » Mobile Homes For ..."

I would actually like it to say "Panama City FL Real Estate >> **then the title i used for the blog**"

In Wordpress, the title is output from the php code in the header file, which you can access from the theme editor.

If you know html and php, it's pretty easy. if not, I would get help from someone that does.

There may be an easier way, but I couldn't find it.

It is probably because that page is archived. You can also go into options and choose how the URLs should be written. Go to options and then "permalinks" to set

I think that formatting your urls in the permalinks section is a good way to rank too.

If this is not a brand new blog you "Do Not want to change the permalink structure" That will change all your URL's for the posts and your blog will virtually disappear for a couple of months from the search engines.

As to the changing the title tag so it doesn't show archive I can help you with that if you havn't figured it out. PM me if you want a hand.
