Search on state information for particular states, most of the general information is public domain. Many government agencies don't restrict usage. Things like state flags, population, number of households, population breakdowns, etc, are all public domain.

I would get permission first! I disagree that most information is in the so called public domain.

Most government sites I have visited also have copyright notices.(even if they didn't doesn't mean it isn't protected)

Frobn is correct that there is no copyright protection for statistics. However, one can copyright the way statistics are displayed.

Alright, so it looks like I need to look at the census and find a unique way to display those stats with a sentence of two. Thanks.

Sorry, I missed that, not many people would even think of changing titles and meta descriptions on 400+ listings. That concern for detail is the difference between a professional web site and an amature one. You have a excellent site.

Responding to earlier stuff in the thread...

    Robert:

I believe you misunderstand licensing and referrals. Sure, if you're a Tennessee agent (or wherever) and you run into someone that is moving to Arizona, you can refer them to a local Arizona Realtor and earn a referral fee. If you actively solicit clients outside the state where you're licensed, that is another matter. Check with your broker or a real estate attorney.

    SaltRiver:

You requested individuals create linking or business relationships with you, and you did that anonymously. I just expressed my own pet peeve against anonymous solicitations. I speak my mind, though I attempt to do it tactfully (and usually fail). We are free to disagree on business practices.
