Should I make site Viewers register to see my own listings?

OK, I have a dilema. I have alot of listings and from the traffic I get, one of my most widely used sections of my site is my listings section. This is not part of the idx as these are input manually...what is your opinion, should I set up this section of my site to register to view or not and why.

please let me know your opinion.

If you really want to double end the deal, then yes - but if you realize that most users want to be represented by a buyers agent, then no - (answer may vary depending on your market) - If they are your listings, I say no roadblocks as typically you want to force registration so that you have first crack at the lead before they go and call the listing agent - but if at first they want to see the listing, do a bunch of homework, find out the listing agent is you and then call you anyways - let em

Or another option is to show basic information, and hide some of the details that you feel won't take away from the experience of the public viewer. Add a link with "Register to view the full profile of this listing" or something like that. So, as it was said above there really aren't any roadblocks to your listing, but you can capture some information for some of the more serious leads.
