so what good is authority if there are no changes in the serps? only a truly motivated person will go past the first page and very motivated pass the second page of search engines.

or would i have to link to at least the five top directories to get the keywords i want? will the top 5 directories likely put me in the top of the searches?

Disco, maybe you can answer this question for me? I have had a Yahoo Directory listing for 4 years now. If I don't renew it this year, will it effect my site? The price is steep for 1 link. Thanks in advance guys!
