    Default Top Producer

Is it just me or is TP the most unfriendly user contact follow system available?

Create this, copy that, personal copy blah blah blah..

is there a more user friendly system out there?

The best one to use is the one you actually use. They all have some quirks you won't like.

    I use Top Producer.

Top Producer, in theory, could be an outstanding system. But its chalk so full with weird and obscure ways of doing things, that its really not very intuitive or friendly to use a lot of the time.

I really wish a quality competitor to Top Producer would come out.

I just looked at the newest version TP8i and it appears to be far better and more user friendly than 7i, at least the dashboard, contact info, lead summary, calendar, etc. Not sure about the rest at this point. If you have a team and need to assign leads and keep track of what they are doing with them, then it may be a good option as the admin can see everything.

Maybe one day, REW will have something more along the lines of TP for their clients.

    Absolutely!!!

While I find TP to complicated and difficult, once you get the hang of it, it's not so bad.

Either way, you have to use something and as OC says, they all have quirks. You just have to get past them, and get into a routine.

    Best of luck.

I have been a Top Producer 7i user for several years. There is a steep learning curve. Very steep, the first month I hated the program. But after that I truly love it now. Very impressive action plans, mailing campaing, email campaigns & more.

However I tried out Top Producer 8i, and found it to be very, very cumbersome. I think they have a fair amount of work to do on that one, but it also could be the learning curve againt to face.

    Hope that helps.

I'm a TP 7i user. I agree "intuitive" is not one of it's assets, but it is a powerful program. Like any system it's usefulness is limited by it's weakest link...the "human".

I'm staying far away from 8i until the adventurous types finish testing it.

Has anyone tried moresolds.com?? I was wondering how it compared to top producer. Seems there is a good market niche here for someone.
