Default IDX Drop Down Box Question

On my IDX there are several drop down boxes such as Master Bedroom Features, basement, age of home, that users may want to make multiple selections from the same drop down. Can we set up the control key function so that multiple selections can be made?

    Hi Eddy,

Certainly can. We'd just need to move the search fields around and redo the way that the "age of home" dropdown works. ( You requested to mix 3 fields into the "new home" category. Take about 1/2hr programming.

    Thank you,

Would they still be dropdowns or would they have to be check boxes? Would want to leave the new home the way we have it as far as the 3 into New Home.

They would be "Multiple Select Boxes" Like the "View" and "Special Features" on Gregg's IDX http://www.propertyinsantacruz.com/idx/
The 3 in the new home would stay - I just have to recode the query for that to accept arrays

Aaron, I would like to make the following changes on the Advanced Search screen on my IDS. Under Additional Features, make the 3rd line of search options AGE OF HOME(Please keep the 3 in the new home) and MASTER BEDROOM FEATURES and make these both Multiple Select Boxes.

Also under SCHOOLS please convert the Elementary, Middle and High to Multiple Select Boxes. Please add the text "Hold the Ctrl key to make multiple selections."
