What does it cost to have an REW Blog integrated directly into my REW website?

1 hour programming, 2 hour skinning for a total of 3 hours billable time ($300) you had asked about going wide with your site did you not? If you are planning on going that route, I suggest you move to your wide site first, so that your blog will not have to be changed if you do decide to go wide.

Does moving to this sort of Blog help with rankings. I am #5 or 6 for my KW's.

REW Blogs are completely SEO friendly (just like REW sites) so your posts will rank just as well as your static pages - but adding a blog will not necessarily help you rank for your main kw's - but that is not the point of adding a blog.

Over time, if you write great content in your blog it WILL help all of your pages rank due to the fact that great blog posts attract great links which helps the domain over all.
