    Default email message

when someone wants to email a friend a home they have found on my site, This is at the bottom of the message:

If you have any questions about this property, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

    Sincerely,

and there is nothing after 'sincerely'

can someone change the 'us' to 'me' and add in my contact info

    yep, didn't see that one.

what was bugging me, was I didn't have my name after 'sincerely', and figured I'd just get the whole signature.

With the listing office/agent being so prominent in the property data (which is being slightly ammended), I saw myself get bypassed.

someone using my site, emailed the listing to another person and wrote 'hey Wilma, this fixer upper is listed with your office. what's the scoop?'

Wilma is their cousin for all I know, but why make it easy for someone else?

since I'm hijacking my own thread (rather than someone else's this time), I have to say that's it's great to be able to read the comments when one person emails another the property info. It's really great to read, 'hey Barney, isn't this site great?!' etc.

last week on our broker caravan, an agent approached me and said 'greg, your site rocks!'

so thanks for all your help Morgan. and thanks to the REW crew and everyone that contributes to this forum.

Greg, you should also put a signature block at the bottom of the property update emails that are sent out to those who signed up to get (daily) MLS updates so they know how to contact you.

For CMS 2 sites, one common signature block for the website is not adequate. All email contacts to a lead should be dynamic, and based on the agent they are assigned to.

A way to specify an agent's standard signature block to be used on all emails to leads assigned to that agent, should be a high priority enhancement to Lead Manager and all IDX emails, whether they be auto responders, "just listed" emails, emails with listings sent to friends, everything. Templates are already in place. We just need to be able to pick and assign an existing template as an agent's standard signature block template, and all emails need to use that.

right now, i assign all leads to myself.

    Hi Greg,

I've placed your signature on the "Send to Friend" emails ... as well as the MLS Updates.

    Thank you,
