Free Link Exchange Sites

I just thought it might help some of you if I posted the free link exchange sites I have been using. I have no affiliation with the following sites just thought they were effective for some of my ad campaigns and best of all there is no cost. Some of the free sites I use:

Linkmarket
LinkExchanged
LinkReferral

The first two are quite simple to use but be careful. I read that too many reciprocal links can be detrimental to your page rank. Try and keep the reciprocal links under 100 per site. You really want to get "one way" links to your site for optimal performance but this a good way to initially boost page traffic for free.

The last one (link referral) works like viral marketing. Your link is placed in a high traffic directory but your ranking in that directory is based upon how many different sites you surfed in a day. If you simply look at 30 other sites (takes about a half an hour) you will get points and be driven to the top of their directory. Viewing other's sites isn't as painful as it sounds because you are allowed to review the site and trade tips and tricks with other web masters. I have learned more than one trick on this site and like I said it's free.

Another cool site for one way links (if you are willing to shell out a couple of dollars) is Digital Point Forum. Here you can buy and sell links to other forum users and they usually cost a fraction of what you would pay through a link broker. Best of luck.
