Default Suggestion for moving links / pages

Currently, when adding a new main page or link, it gets added to the bottom of the list, and it takes quite a bit of effort and page refresh time to get it positioned wherever it belongs. It would be nicer to place the new page / link after the currently selected page / link, or allow some other way for us to specify its initial position in the nav structure. I thought this CMS was going to have a "drag & drop" capability for organizing links, but haven't been able to find it.

    Ronnie,

I have sent this suggestion to the CMS crew. Thanks

Ronnie, sounds like a great suggestion and time saver, I only hope REW will be able to do this. Sounds tricky or impossible though if if they have to use code to do this and not programming.

It's not usually a case of "if" we could do it - we most certainly could - but it needs to go on a pile of other great suggestions that all take time to build, test, then roll out. We take these suggestions very seriously (For future revisions) and we thank you for your input. Perhaps this will make it into a future version of the backend.

Btw Pinehurst, your site was installed today, did you get your access to the backend?

Yep! Looking around and learning what does what, reading here and the book I started from the instructions you wrote. Looks pretty good and in your instructions I found the workaround for another problem many might have, although to me the workaround is the preferable, best choice, way of doing things. (cryptic for linking the grandchildren etc, from the text portions of their family tree)
