    Yes, this is true, but what is also true is that YAHOO will in most cases give your site a fair and acurate title and description, based on what your site is about, or what your homepage tells the user it is abouot. As long as you have this information in line with your targeted keyword group, - which you should - it will be fine. IF yahoo does incorrectly summarise your site and you have paid for the listing, in my experience, they are willing to make any changes that you suggest.

    Again. as long as your site acurately gives the user a 'whats in it for me' summary on initial overvoiew, then yahoo editors will see this to be true and list it correctly.

    That I will agree with, but what if you find they give you something that ranks you very well for a keyword that delivers 100 visitors a month, when with a proper link campaign and title and description you could hit a 1000 visitor a month keyword? That is has always been my worry. Hence why I have strayed away from the directory.
