Default Drip Email; How to reel in those leads

I'm currently teaming up with Morgan and crew in Nanaimo to develop a drip email campaign.

I'd like to get some realtor feedback on the following question:

What are the best tips that you often find yourself giving to home buyers?

Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions. I'll be trying a couple different angles with the emails and will be sure to let you all know the results.

    Truly,
    John W.

IMO, keep the e-mails short. Ask one question in the body of each e-mail trying to solicit a response from them. Such as:

Do they have any questions about how to best use the IDX?
What is your time frame for moving?
Do you have a home to sell?
Are you working with a Realtor?
Have you been preapproved for your mortgage?

IMO, the goal is to engage them in a dialogue, then they will gain faith in you and you are much more likely to gain a client.

    Thanks for your expertise Eddy,

How often do leads respond (roughly)?

Not a high percentage but have certainly engaged with more users using the drip then just letting them use the site and trying a hit and miss approach. Think you will be like me and constantly try to fine tune your drip e-mails in attempt to increase the response rate. You have your e-mails forwarded to them then pop the account from them.

Thanks for tips Eddy. Its a great idea to make a call to action. I would just send them info. I always try to include a short paragraph about re news or recent statistics. Then on the bottom of every email I include buyer and seller tips. I'm going to have a little call to action with all that info now.

Great. Any other ideas out there?

If you could educate the entire public at once on a point about buying a home what would it be?

I don't want to educate the entire human buying public. I want to attract a certain type of buyer in a specific geographic area where I am concentrating my efforts.

If the buyers and sellers do not value the service I provide.......

I've heard not to use salutations (like DEAR) and that you should keep the subject to three words if you can. Does that ring true with anyone?

Great post. I tend to set up buyers on my drip campaign with tips and tools, but also send them statistical data and news articles.

I'm new to drip e-mail, but I'm thinking that short e-mails that ask questions are the way to go, like Eddy said. I say this based purely on personal reflection, because it's the short e-mails that I respond to all day, while a lot of the spam I get has tons of information in it that I immediately delete.

We need to start a dialogue with our potential customers.
