    Default Bad Design

What is the worst design element that you see consistently incorporated into Real Estate Pages?

Actually what I have more then "frames" <<< Which I hate from an SEO perspective not a design perspective, it would be scrolling marquee. Way to 1995

Scrolling Marquee is at the top of my list too. Sorry for the me too post SEO guy! I would say the retro site in general is a bit ugly. There are still a few sites with frames, scrolling marquees and nasty 1997 vintage wallpaper.

Default Yes Marquee's are my number one!

Also, the javascript scrolling one's in your status bar.

    animated old .gifs
patterned bitmap backgrounds, you know the old ones.
    midi music
all the content on one page and centered

I actually love Frames, but not for the search engines.

Any site that plays some sort of audio unannounced. It's late at night, the kids are asleep and the computer volume is set on high. If music or audio starts blasting you can bet I won't be going back to that site.

Animated gifs that add nothing to the site would be #1 in my book.

I'd have to say the frames and those tacky little linked images you seem to find on so many RE home pages (this award or that, link exchange directories etc).
