Yet another site wanting to use your data to make a profit.

Here are a few details that might be helpful to those asking:

    How to submit listings

    * If you are a broker with over 100 listings or a third party provider

All you need to do is follow the simple 4 step process:

Step 1: Submit a feed request and tell us a little about yourself
    1. Are you an agent or a broker?
    2. Do you have a website?
    3. Are you affiliated with a major franchisor or independent broker?
    4. What is the name?
    5. Are you able to provide a listings feed?*
    6. How many listings do you have?

    To contact us click here.

*Note: Currently, we can only accept listings feeds from listings brokers, in xml or delimited text file format. Unfortunately we are not able to accept IDX feeds.

Step 2: Complete the Licensing agreement

We will email you a standard licensing agreement that authorizes us to display your listings on FrontDoor.com. The listing broker will need to sign and return the agreement to us via fax at: 212.398.0420, attn Broker feeds team.

Step 3: Submit listings for testing

To ensure we display the most accurate data possible, we require a feed in either xml or delimited text file format using the fields in our standard layout. Unfortunately we are not able to accept IDX feeds at this time.

Detailed feed instructions are located here.

Step 4: FrontDoor will push your listings live on the site

We will test your feed file and your listings typically will go live on FrontDoor.com within five (5) business days of receipt of the file.

    * If you are a broker with less than 100 listings

Currently we are in beta mode and do not have options in place that address listings submissions for less than 100 listings. However, hang tight! Additional features will be made available during the 2nd quarter of 2008 that will allow you to upload listings. We're working hard behind the scenes to get these live as soon as possible.

    * If you are an agent

Unfortunately we are still in beta mode and do not have options in place that address single listing submission. However, hang tight! Additional features will be made available during the 2nd quarter of 2008 that will allow you to upload listings. We're working hard behind the scenes to get these live as soon as possible.

As usual, Pru does not show the listing agent and then directs a visitor to the Pru web site should they want to search. No sense in letting the listing agent get a lead.. Way to support your agents who bring you revenue, Pru.

looks similar to trulia, but may not have as much success, I didn't see any type of buyer/agent Q & A interaction which tends to keep agents coming back. Will probably integrate after beta testing.

just noticed they are doing ppc advertising on yahoo, they are in #7 spot for dallas real estate.

They get listings from Po i nt 2 sites as well.

Has REW entertained the thoughts of giving an option so our manually placed listings are distributed to these other sites?

Meanwhile - I need to worry about just my site(s) - aarrgghhh!

Frontdoor will be kicked out the backdoor after a while. I don't think theres room for another site like T. I've only heard about it through our office, I don't think the public knows it exists.

Consumers with cable that frequently watch HGTV know about it well. I have seen lots of commercials run on the cable channel and have heard multiple people talking about it.
