Showing double?

Several months ago, I decided to try to change my primary URL from my name to something a little more real estate/locale related. I chose our team name.

So here is the problem, my google rankings have never recovered. My yahoo rankings have done pretty well.

Here is the part I don't understand. If you do a search for my name RON TARVIN on google, my site comes up #1 and #2, ronaldtarvin.com (the old URL) and katyagent.com (the new url). Problem is, this is the SAME site. Why is google still hanging on to both sites as if they were different? IS something amiss with my 301 redirect?

Because the URL is still active you need to either cancel the domain name or put the code in so that the google spiders do not pick up that domain, sorry i am not sure of the exact code.
