This is a pretty neat story. This guy was arrested in Egypt.. and used "Twitter" to get his way out.

'Connected' really takes on new meaning and importance - relationship wise and communication wise. Good catch Nick.

What a great yet sad story about the power of social media. I've never used twitter yet, but now I'm going to have to try it (just in case I ever get arrested).

P.S. This is post #300, yeah!

I always said I would stay away from that site because it was a waste of time, but the body of evidence on its usefulness has built to a point where I can't ignore it any longer. I think I'm finally going to sign up. I know several people here have found it beneficial to their business as well.

I just can't see myself using Twitter and posting that I am going to the grocery store... but it is pretty cool that it worked so well for that guy!

I'd be stuck in the jail trying to get Shaq's or Kim Kardashian's attention. Guess I need some followers.

Hey Bruce - I'm following you - there are a lot of REW people on twitter, just start following some and jump into the conversation.

Would be cool if Twitter had 'groups' like facebook where you could search them and have a 'follow all' button. (ie: REW Group>follow all)

This guy is also working on selling his house through twitter. I wonder if it will actually sell though or end up in a giant legal battle.
