VieleRets Query Problem

I am hoping that someone out there is using VieleRets and can provide some insight into my problem. I have searched the interent and have run across the problem, but no solutions.

When I run a null query, I get output. MLNumber is my only query field. Here is what a sucessful trace looks like:
Trace Activating
MLS data only, User supplied information will be overwritten
All MLS listings will be fetched
Selection Fields: Area,MLNumber,StreetName,StreetNumber
DMQL Query: (MLNumber=0+)
New MLS listings will be added and any existing listings will be refreshed
Images accessed with the Media Server capabilities of the MLS (if required)
Limit Govenor set at RUNTIME to 100 listings
Only 100 listings will be processed
Pagination not supported by the server
Using disk caching workaround
Memory cache buffer size (bytes): 2048
Batchs to be processed: N/A
Batch size: 10

Trace Deactivated
Listings Processed 100


Now, if I were to enter a value, such as 0+ into the query field, the query fails. Here is the trace:

Optimization for complex queries is being used because this is not a NULL query

Did you ever figure out how to fix this? I have some similar issues that I'm looking for help with...
