Google Waves in the Evening

wondering if anyone else notices more flucuation in SERPs in the evening hours compared to business hours. I do quite a bit of work from late evening into early morning always radomly checking rankings and seem to notice most movement and activity during late hours. During day, SERPs seem to be fairly consistent with little movement. Also, wondering if this is part of the change noticed in Google lately with randomization of constant waves

I do a lot of work in the evening too but can't say that I notice frequent changes in the SERPs.

I do notice that most of the time our rankings are different in the evening. I've always attributed to datacenter changes, in most cases, I'd like to keep the rankings we get around 12 am!

something must be going on, lately ranking have been better in the evening. I just checked Google for main keyword dallas real estate and I'm number #6 on first page, I haven't been on first page in more than a year...

I noticed the same thing here in Alaska. Maybe ithas something to do with location. Last night a had a page ranked number 3 today it is number 12. Finally thought I was getting somewhere.... Interesting?

Part of that just looks better as the PPC sites have dropped off from the top.

I've noticed that kind of drastic movement at several times during the day anymore. I think Google is doing some major reshuffling and rankings are all over the creation. They need to get their act together soon because even in the short-term this kind of stuff could give searchers the wrong idea about where different sites are ranked.

Google seems to be dancing more and more these days. It's hard to get excited seeing my website at the top, it always seems to disapeer the next day.
