Default How many of you call your internet leads?

I was just wondering how many you call your internet leads. Do you call immediately or within a few days? Depending on how busy I am I usually call either the day of their visit or with 1-2 days.

Is anyone using a telemarketer to call?

We try to call all leads that include phone numbers within 30 minutes. I'd like to get it down to 10 minutes.

I always try to call back ASAP, sorry to say it doesn't happen every time. I've called some leads immediately after getting the email (and sometimes while they're still viewing my site) and I almost always get a positive comment. I have to say that there is a strong correlation between how soon you contact them and your conversion rate.

Do you use a telemarketer or have buyer agents?

We call back everyone within 24 hours. We only have one person manning phones, so it's tough when you get more than 30 inquiries in a day and have to handle all the previous inquiries that are now part of your business.

For this question above: do you consider MLS sign-ups leads? Or just people that specifically contact you via email?

I check Emails 3 times a day, so as soon as I get a lead
I call them or have one of my people make calls. heck Im online all the time, a lot
of people are suprise when they get an email back from me at 2 am.
I had a guy called me at 2:15 am before ( I was playing online games)and I picked the phone up and the call converted into a sale. I think it depends on the market, here in CA i get a lot of bad numbers/name .. but the real leads i get, I try to convert asap.

Thus far, I only call the ones that request specific info or to see a home. I currently am reluctant to call every single MLS user that signs up... even though I probably should...

I make a point to call all website inquiries. When I have time I call the IDX signups as well. Calling them works. They don't always call you and starting the relationship over the telephone will help when they visited 5 other realtor websites. If you are the only Realtor calling your chances of getting them are better.

Sometimes there are just not enough hours in the day to call daily. That is why I am looking in to a service that does it for you or getting a buyers agent to help out.

I'm sure the minute I hire a buyers agent business will slow down. Murphys law.
