Dividing links page

Hey everyone, my Relocation page started pushing 90 links, so I've decided to split into another Relocation page. The last two Google updates, I have jumped tremendously (because of this site) and expect to do so again on the next update. I don't want to jeopardize anyone else's links on my NEW page either. All of my pages are indexed and cached by Google, except this new page that I have just created. I split the pages with States A-M (on my original) and States N-W (the new page). I left States N-W on my original Relocation page since the NEW page isn't cached yet.

If I leave my two Relocation Pages the way they are right now, will it be ok until the next G update? I am going to fix my original Relocation page after the next update. I know I wouldn't have to worry about this if I had a directory, but that just can't happen right now.

I hope I have made myself clear and didn't confuse anyone. Your answers are very appreciated. I just want to know if G will punish me for having States N-W links twice on my site.

Why not break it into a state directory? This is more work now, but the page is more relavant for your link partners. It will also make it so you won't have to worry about having to many links on one page (except for maybe CA, FL, and AZ). In the long run this will save you from having to change things over and over.

90 into 2 pages is still 45 per page and I would guess you plan on adding more. So how long will it take you to get up to 90 each again? Not to long then you have to do this again.

the main reason I can't make a state directory is the limit on pages I have from my host. As you can see, I am using a template site (mainly because I suck at web design) and they have a limit on the number of pages I can use. I plan on only using these two pages for my links, maybe one more page, but I doubt it.

If I WERE to make a state directory, then that would be 50 pages that aren't cached and right now that would do a bigger disservice....right? I've made my bed, now I have to lie in it and make it as good as it can be...although limited.

Once the REO market comes back around, I am most likely going to get a professional to do all of this on my company server.

To think everyone loves to knock AA sites, at least they have unlimited pages.

As for the 50 pages not being cached, big deal you set them up and get hem cached. That shouldn't take very long, then you switch the links over. When I add a page it take less than a week to get it cached.

Doesn't look like you have to many options. If you are going to end up with three page you should just make the split now. This way all of them will get indexed at the same time.

Ken's right, best to start now or pay for it later. Worst case, you could always add links to some of your content pages for some of your "preferred" link partners, especially if their site is related to the content of the page, like a condo only site link on your page about condos. Just a thought.

Those of us with the standard Point2 sites can only do what we can do (with what pages we have available)! You can still add links to other pages, too, not just a standard link exchange type page.

I've put directory links on other pages of my site. You could put some mortgage links on your buyers page, sellers, calculator, foreclosure facts, etc.

Im in the process of switching to AA from XYZ ...

There are a lot of other options out there and one that I would strongly suggest looking at before switching to AA is the templates that are being offered by SEO Guy. It doesn't look like they have pricing up on their website yet, but just contact them.

These sites look better than an AA site and the code is MUCH cleaner. You will have to write your own content, but you will also have to do the same at AA unless you want all your pages dropped for duplicate content.

AA isn't bad by any means, but it is worth exploring other options before spending the money. Don't think that an AA site is good to go out of the box, they aren't and you will have to invest a lot of time to make the site good.

I tried getting in touch with them but our time wasn't compatible...
I would strongly think about them on my next website.
