    Default Yahoo BL drops?

For the past couple of days my Yahoo BL total for my two sites has dropped by just more that 60%. Anybody else seeing this on their sites?

Yes, and it's about time they cleaned up that mess. There was a lot of duplicates showing up.

You may not, they are cleaning up some issues they have had. Their bot had been getting stuck and reporting some links many times over. I had a few links that showed on 6 or 7 straight pages of my links results and one and a half pages all showing the exact same link, now the dup's are gone. One agent was showing over a million links for Y alone... now down to under 500k and I'm sure it will drop further as this clean up continues.

So how many links did you get up to before the drop?

When my site was caught up in that glitch, I got up to 1.2M from Yahoo alone! Right now, the total of five SE's IBL counts are around 1.2M, with Yahoo showing around 450,000 or so IBL's. Which is still a joke, so Yahoo hasn't removed all the crap yet. It is slowly going downwards so I am confident that Yahoo will clean it all up soon.

Too funny. It started of as a "right on, look at me" when my IBL count from Yahoo went up to 30,000 or so, then it went to "holy crap, what is wrong" when it went to over 100,000. Then I was thinking "who has the power to do this and why would someone want to" when it went over 300,000 from Yahoo, thinking someone was mad at me and trying to point a ton of links at my site overnight to get me sandboxed or penalized...

I went through a whole lot of emotions before Shawn (HHI Golf Guy) and I figured it out.

    What a mess.
